Ursula K. Le Guin was born on October 21, 1929 in Berkeley, California. She is considered one of the most prominent science fiction/fantasy writers of all time. Some of her major works include A Wizard of Earthsea, The Left Hand of Darkness, and Malafrena. Le Guin died in 2018 at the age of 88.
